He Must Increase Ministries is powered by Quarry Kingdom Development, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN #46-5047758). We operate as a program under QKD, which is dedicated to serving those who serve the common good.
He Must Increase Ministries revolves around serving those who are homeless and less fortunate within our community. Millions of impoverished individuals around the globe struggle to make it by daily. Without food or water, these individuals are starving. More importantly, this world is starving spiritually. There is a lack of hope, joy, and love within our communities. Everyone must hear the transformational good news that the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings. Our ministry significantly revolves around the verse Matthew 25:40, in which Jesus claims, “whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Our goal is to bring the light of Jesus Christ to those who feel unseen or unloved.
We do this through the homeless outreach branch of our ministry. These outreaches are Spirit led evangelical missions in which volunteers take to the streets and locally serve the homeless within their communities. HMI has currently hosted multiple homeless outreaches in the city of Abilene, TX and is now currently starting within San Antonio, TX. Volunteers that take part in these outreaches are fully funded. The water, food, Bibles, and other materials are fully supplied. This ensures that nothing withholds someone from coming along to serve. We seek to first show love to whomever we meet by meeting their physical needs, and then shortly after spread the Gospel to them to meet their spiritual needs. We understand that although food is important, the eternal change of the Gospel lasts forever. This is seen in John 4:13-14 when Jesus says to the woman at the well, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” We seek to ultimately point them to Jesus who is the Living Water and the Bread of Life. Not only are the lives of those whom we come into contact with impacted, but the hearts of the volunteers are impacted. HMI specifically focuses on making disciples of all nations, as Jesus has outlined for us in the Great Commission. When someone comes to serve in our homeless outreaches, they are taught crucial leadership skills, critical thinking, how to pray with the help of the Holy Spirit, how to preach the Gospel, and how to adapt to real life situations. Most importantly, their eyes are opened more so to those who are struggling and in need. Their hearts are moved and softened toward the less fortunate. These volunteers are taught how to walk in step with the Spirit and have a heart like Jesus did. Jesus exemplified His servitude by claiming that He, “did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” As His followers, we should seek to selflessly serve those closest to us.
These homeless outreaches are only made possible as they are fully funded by our Christian clothing line and generous donors. As the founder of He Must Increase Ministries, Nolan Amerman, I hand sketch Biblical images and design them onto shirts. These Biblical pictures are accompanied usually with a Bible verse as well. All of the profits from these shirts make our outreaches possible. Our Christian clothing line encourages conversation starters and evangelism in public as well. We encourage each individual who wears our shirts to “wear your faith boldly.” Wearing these shirts in public proclaims a statement: “I follow Jesus, and you should too.” These shirts are meant to encourage and strengthen anyone who sees the art and most importantly reads the Bible verse! We fully acknowledge that the “Word of God is alive and active” (Hebrews 4:12).
The branches of Christian outreach and Christian clothing are what makes up He Must Increase Ministries. HMI is designed and empowered fully by Jesus Christ to encourage, uplift, and show love to those around us in our world today.

He Must Increase Ministries exists to bring all glory and praise to Jesus Christ, and point to Him through our acts of service by physically and spiritually meeting the needs of those who are struggling.

We seek to bring the Gospel to all people, to make disciples of all nations, to create Christ following leaders, and to physically benefit those who are less fortunate.
About Our Founder
Hello! My name is Nolan Amerman, I am 19 years old, and I am the founder of He Must Increase Ministries. One day, the Lord put a vision on my heart to take to the streets and serve those in need. This vision caused me to ask the question, "What would it look like to take what we had been learning in our men's Bible study, and actually carry it out?" Another question arose: "How will we have the money to continue to fund these outreaches?" We started selling these T-Shirts with my custom sketches, and spread the word about our missions. Before we knew it, many people wanted to buy a shirt, and others sought to donate money to our cause. Since then, we have been faithfully serving the Lord through taking care of those who do not have the means to take care of themselves. Jesus has put a soft spot on our hearts for the needy, and I am forever grateful to be on this journey alongside many other brothers and sisters in Christ.
Firstly, I want to give all glory and credit to Jesus for getting this ministry up and running. Jesus is much more than just an icon on the back of a shirt, or a plan B if things go wrong. To me, Jesus is my everything. Jesus is my Savior. He is my Refuge. He is my Provider. He if my Deliverer. He is my Hiding Place. He is my Father. He is my Joy. He is my Light. He is my Salvation. He is the Way, the Truth, the Life. He is my Counselor. He is my Prince of Peace. He is my Unshakable Foundation. He is who I confide in and ask for wisdom. He gives me life. He gives me purpose. He gave His blood for me, and because of that I will give my entire being, my life, my goals, my aspirations, my dreams, and my wants to Him. In every case, I want to be where He is. I like to think that this verse describes my mentality toward my relationship with Him: "Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked" (Psalms 84:10). This by no means means that I am perfect. In fact, my imperfection is why I call Jesus so many names, because if I were perfect, I would not need Jesus. As it stood I was lost, and now I am FOUND!! This narrow path of light and love is something that my heart desires many more people find. That is why here at He Must Increase Ministries, our heart posture is as Isaiah's was when he, "heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us? And I said, 'Here am I. Send me!'" (Isaiah 6:8). However, we can do nothing on our own strength. We pray that we are just the vessels for the Holy Spirit to speak through and move through. Jesus ultimately is the One who saves someone. We can do nothing apart from Him or on our own strength (John 15:5). That is why the ministry is named He Must Increase Ministries, because as we see in John 3:30, as we decrease and humble ourselves, Jesus can increase and do His miraculous, one-of-a-kind work on someone's heart!!
When it comes to my personal life I like to say that I am a fisher of men disguised as a baseball player! I am currently participating in collegiate sports, which is a wonderful platform to spread the Gospel and grow in connection with some amazing people. I enjoy fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, and swimming. Its safe to say that I have a calling for being outside and active! That is why it is so exciting to take to the streets and be a light and encouragement to new people. I come from a wonderful family of believers who constantly supports and uplifts me in my calling. They are the reason why I have gotten so far in this life. I aspire one day to do the same if I have a family. In my free time, I really enjoy sketching and art. I am a big fan of colors and meaningful drawings. I enjoy drawing animals or plants found in nature, and believe that Jesus has given me this artistic skill to ultimately bring honor and glory to His name!
